Welcome back, or welcome for the first time!

Minimax has evolved throughout the years, with its number of issues and topics shifting across the decades. Beginning as a monthly newsletter in the 1960s, informing students of local and worldwide news, it has slowly transformed into a space for expression, conversation, and critique. This version brings together the essence of our predecessors, honouring the magazine’s roots both visually and in content. In a world that rewards noise, Minimax leans into clarity by introducing real voices, curated themes and a distinct visual identity. Through a balance of an up-to-date website and artistically refined issues, the magazine is growing into its own student led system for reliable information and self expression.

We strive for the balance between informing and creating, inspiring the student body with diverse career paths, inspirational interviews and insight into the happenings within SASSE, while exploring different carefully selected issue themes. Minimax is not only about the written and visual expression of our team but a shared space that every student can help shape.

On behalf of our entire team, I invite you to explore, respond freely and help us write what comes next. With lots of ❤️
